The two most recent albums that blew me away happened about 2 years ago. Agalloch's first two singles. AATG was great, but not perfect.

Even more recent than that. Trollfest - wiloken whatever and Angra's newest.

Didn't blow me away, except for a few songs.

The latest Runemagick album blew me away, due to it's left field approach to droning death/doom.
