Just watched "Saving Face", which I believe was recommended somewhere in this thread. Cool movie. Both the wife and I enjoyed it.

As an aside, I've never been a big fan of Asian woman, but Lynn Chen is crazy hot.

Saw Eragon in german, but you didn't need the dialogue to figure out it was a fairly generic fantasy. I was able to guess half the shit that happened

Exactly! It's not. This guy just looked too far into things, and overanalyzed.

I'm not saying that the original comic had this intent, but its obvious that this was released to exploit American hostilities towards the east. Whites v.s. browns, the whole bit about fighting for freedom (in the second trailer). Of course, the whites are the protagonists, fighting valiantly against the brown enemies - what a load of crap.

This movie is sick (not in the good way). I don't mean to cast judgment on any fans of the original comic, or many of you that are interested because of the art work; but we should acknowledge the immoral corporate intent here.

"Invincible" wasn't nearly as good as I thought it'd be. It was a good concept, but executed poorly. Came out as a boring and generic football movie. I've seen other similar movies that were done much better.

Yeah, it was cool for that fact. It just felt like a rehash of every generic RPG/ anime fantasy epic I've ever played/watched
