Movies

Yeah me too. For some reason I thought you were younger than me.

it's probably the immaturity and non graying hair :loco:

What did you think of Rocky IV?

was never into the Rocky movies, don't think I watched any of them in their entirety
the first movie I saw in the theater in the US was Rambo though ... that blew my nuts off.

"This mission is over John"
"It's never over ... NEVER!"

It's always interesting to see the communist perspective of Rocky IV. Ivan Drago was played by a Swede I think. :loco:

First Blood? Yeah....

"This mission is over John"

Nothing is over! Nothing! You just don't turn it off!

*Stallone breaks down into tears and starts rambling*

Awesome. Best bit is when he jumps of the cliff and lands in a tree.

oh, they never had movies in Romania in those days where a Communist gets his ass beaten by an American.
man, living in those times was scary. I still get anxiety when waiting on lines for anything here.

Yep, Dolph Lundgren no less

As a kid I worshipped him in his role as street preacher in Johnny Mnemonic who nails someone to a bed at the end of the movie.
Red Scorpion and Universal Soldiers were two other great flicks with him which I enjoyed a lot; I think I'll keep my fond memories instead of revisiting them though

How did we get on a Dolph Lundgren conversation anyway?

See page 42.

With regards to Open Water, there's always going to be some flaws going into a true story where the only people involved are dead. :tickled:

I'm sure all of you have worn scuba gear? Well, it's bouyant as fuck. So how the chick manages to just let herself submerge and drown herself whilst in scuba gear is a massive flaw.

Best bit in the movie was (a) when she got her paps out (it had nothing to do with the movie, but any time a chick gets them out is alright with me), and (b) the attack on the husband during the night. Since it's completely black, you only see those flashes in the lightning....pretty cool.

Did anyone else know that "I Come in Peace" was renamed "Dark Angel" at some point? It was on cable a while back as "Dark Angel", but it was the exact same movie. Just a weird thing I noticed, and since it was brought up.
Pretty weird. To this day I still can't pick up a CD without wanting to chuck it through someone's skull. :kickass:
