well, what's the perfect song for a funeral?
i'm the whine-type, so i go for
theatre of tragedy - ...a distance there is
and don't propose a "better" song before you actually listened to that one! that's ace! in a bad way.

me too. never been to one. not me thing really. i'll get really depressed and won't be able to control meself. sad.

Yeah, missed that "your", same goes, music wouldn't be suitable. If anything I'd rip off Buckley and go for "Satisfied Mind". I'd just think it'd be a time when people should be alone with their thoughts, without any form of escapism.

the point is not to control yourself at a funeral, the point is to part ways. and i do the most ridiculous things at funerals, for example going into a church, just because it feels right and i think i need to do it for the dead one. it's not nice, of course, but i still feel better afterwards than i would without taking part.

those moments can be the best ever. funerals can be really fucking special. like the silence, the pure emotions u feel like.

*sob sob* get a grip ffs

and i just love being in churches, cathedrals, the bigger/older the better

my sort of biggest fear is that maybe my (yet unborn) children could die before i do. dunno if i could handle that.

deffo, i accidentally was at a mass when i was in Bristol, great space, and the whole ceremony was emphasizing the lot - there was a small orchestra playing :)

i got to chat with a chapelin and he had like undyed black hair with fierce blue eyes, never seen anything 'angelic' before, damn...

rules all.

I'd choose something not too depressing nor sad.. like Weeping Willows cover version of Wonderful Life.

"No need to run and hide
It's a wonderful, wonderful life"

and (I've probly said this before) when people walk out of the church, I want Wake Me Up Before You Go Go blasting through speakers.
