music for your funeral

You RULE... I am from Cologne and the Kölner Dom owns for sure....
But how to get your funeral held in there... only for the privileged ones... damn...

well i lived near and worked in cologne, so where exactly are you from?
i bet funerals are just for church types and the like. oh, but they also held a mass for willi millowitsch, against a good amount of resistance from a few church members.

I wont hear it so I dont care and I dont want to torture ppl there ..so dunno. nothing really doom, no cheerful, some modest nice melody maybe.. only to break the silence. cos the silence can be fucking ridiculous. (like at my mothers funeral the ministrants couldnt screw in the urn cover for minutes and i was very close to start to laugh like a drain..) But I cant choose a song now, and i think the better if the ppl who knew me are able to choose one from their hearts. *pathetic*

hehe, yeah, I'd also go for Manowar!! but Heart of steel

Stand and fight
Live by your heart
Always one more try
I'm not afraid to die

Ive chosen this like...six years ago..
Eric Satie, trois gymnopedies
Very good choice indeed, Satie is one of my favourite,
but well maybe the fifth Gnossienne will fit too.
Anyway the only problem is that maybe the audience will fall asleep...

now to be honest, his music makes my skin crawl.

Me too, this is really angel like.
So smooth and cool, simple too.
It has what is important: music is melody.
I have just put the CD in my laptop, I'm listening to it now!

I also have a version of his songs played with a bandoneon, lovely
