My computer has a virus

I was looking at some porn sites and my antivirus software has said that a virus is in my computer and it is unable to repair it, on my desktop this large writing in yellow says something about my computer being in danger has suddenly appeared. Can anyone help and if so what should I do?

ps - i've tried rebooting my computer several times.

the obvious solution is to run an Antivirus scan if you have the latest on your machine ... if not go to this Symantec page and run a scan off the web.
