My ctrl+alt+delete button doesn't work!

Well, I explained most everything already. Neither methods of pressing ctrl+alt+delete will work. My brother turned the computer off by the back of the machine and not the front, which is what you are suppose to do. Now my ctrl+alt+delete buttons will not work and I have a parasite on my computer that I can totally neutralize by exiting the programs.

Is there another way of exiting programs completly other than pressing ctrl+alt+delete? Because I don't think it's my keyboard that is screwed up.

Dude, new keyboards are cheap. Get one. Then get your hard drive reconfigured. If my hunch is correct, you've probably got the KLEZ virus. People get it when they download stuff off of pirate sites. It's really easy to get rid of, though.

maybe you are using an old operating system. Such as 95 or 98 (no task manager)

I have also had this problem...it was a virus, i forget the name of it, i have norton...so whenever i have a virus i always look it up on their website and download a tool to remove it. It shouldnt be to difficult to remove...unless you surf the internet 'barebacked'...(without virus protection).
