My new... uh, band - listen!

Inspired by Fenriz's proclamation of 'boring metal' being the best metal, I decided to have a go at making some boring ambient black metal.

It's really weird and dissonant and not melodically pleasing which for me is a total dealbreaker haha, i don't like much black metal at all. Maybe if it was epic like Immortal I could dig it.

Better without vocals..... after 20 some years of being exposed to depitched barking dog and forks in the blender vocals, do something new, layer some unusual instruments. But for fucks sake pass on the stereotypical vocals.

That's really what I was thinking. I sort of wanted this to be 'anti-black metal'.

Note the cover - completely legible logo. Black and blue, not black and white. (BTW, the cover is a photograph of a flame lit in the vacuum of outer space.)

Synths, sound effects. Varied instrumentation (not just big celtic frost brass, or cheesy Dimmu harmonic minor synth strings and organs).
As cliche-free as possible.

And if I was ever to put together a band to play this live, we'd wear pajama pants and smoking jackets.
