True,put it depends on the album and the band. COB is not a band meant for crying too. Angels Dont Kill is def cob's most emotional song,so its kinda an exception.But if its a band like Sonata Arctica,then crying can be accepted because they write beautiful ballads.

it's too much for us,but the record company is the one interested in putting it out as soon as possible to make as much money as possible,so if it's going to be released in that dates it's because it can't be marketed quicker.I supose they'll want to generate a lot of expectation and to make the desire for the album as big as they can,so just wait and wait until april,

We just know the album name for a month, the only "marketing" there has been done is Tie my rope. Wich is an unofficial "single" that has been released 4 months ago.

April is just way closer to the summer festivals then january or earlier.

I do agree, that they could have start advertising before the recording.

I get the impression this is Alexi's best album.

Great sounds, much faster songs, much better songs, lots of cool melodies...
Take Tie My Rope and imagine it with much better vocals and guitar sounds. That's how good the album will be.
