NEW ALBUM Q42 017/Q1 2018

First bit reminds me of Hatebreeder. The second could be anything, though it seemed more like their newer stuff. Hard to say with nothing but drums in it.

First bit sounds like the beginning of Hatebreeder yeah. Can't really tell much, it depends on the guitars as they set the mood.

A proper COBTV would be nice but I also enjoy seeing these insta videos :D keeps me excited!
btw that "Downtown Salieri" that they were talking about makes me think of 80's movies for some reason?

" Drums 10/11 captured! "

This is nice. They could also show just some random discussion about song bits. But it's nice having some material (even tho the drum parts at least don't reveal anything). It's tricky cos you don't wanna give out the best ideas like this.

It's just hard to get crazy excited as the last three albums haven't had much of that dark energy, they've been too thrashy as opposed to melodic death metal. I think there needs to be more dark energy, epic melodies and catchy beats, orchestral hits and vicious vocals... and more speed, not just in terms of kickpedal tempo but overall feeling. Then again in theory you could change everything except you can't heal Alexi's vocal cords.

Wait... if they recorded 10 out of 11 songs yesterday (drums) and if they finished with the drums today... then what about the covers? Because the 11 songs was meant aside from the covers, right?

Don't think they would divide the recordings like that. They most likely have to do some setup for each instrument and it would cause them extra work to do it twice for each instrument.

Nah, the eleventh song is Knuckleduster. I think they don't even count the covers, they're done within a split second idea. I hope there is no cover songs this time, enough is enough. We really want a fabulous Bodom album with all the epicness, no time should be wasted for more pointless covers. Don't Stop and Ramones were nice, but it's time to stop that tradition, cos it's become an unnecessary 'necessity.'

I'd be really thrilled to find one more epic Bodom album with countless hit songs that don't lose their magic over time. Songs with unite feel from start to finish, with lots of epic energy and eerie atmosphere... but let's see, maybe the album will have it's upside and downside in areas we won't be able to guess.
