I like HOB and think it has quite a few good songs. IIRC back when it was released I ranked it as their 4th best album, and I still agree with that. Don't really like anything but All for Nothing on IWC. Prayer for the Afflicted also has good melodies in it but it's too slow.

A bit off topic... but has anyone else noticed I Worship Chaos has been taken down on spotify? I still think there's a law suit going on with Roope, I'm presuming he wants some royalties.. maybe he wrote some riffs etc.

Hmm strange - I just rechecked and it's still missing from the UK spotify. No idea why they would take it down. All the other albums are still there.

I don't know if that's the right screenshot because i don't see the link with Canada. However, I see that you listen to Xanthochroid and that's really good I've been friend with Matt (the drummer) and with Brent (guitarist until recently) for a while now and those guys are amazing. Quality music and down-to-earth personalities, a good mix.

By the way, have you all noticed, that it seems like Alexi have returned to his old clothing style ( the cargo pants for example, he hasn't been wearing one since 2014) It may sound stupid, but i think it's a sign.

I think his lowest string gauge is around 125... mine is 130 and I think mine is a bit thicker. But I'm tuned in B and play a bit different stuff.

Why is he starting now, the guitars can't be finished yet, only been a few days...? Maybe Alexi's going thru the sections with him while he has freshly recorded his section?

Didn't notice that at all actually. I'd noticed that he'd switched away from them though.

Perhaps they're recording the bass and guitars at the same time?
