mmm for me AMORPHIS died after "Elegy" (which is their best album so far)... I'm not really interested in "Eclipse" because "Far From The Sun" was horrible, not only for being mellow but bacause it was rather unispired...

Does "Eclipse" follow the same musical line???

Eclipse is great. It should have followed Elegy. I hadnt listened to Amorphis much since Elegy, and didnt really like each successive release afterwards.

The vocals are really good on this album too.

Anyway, I LOVE this album!! They brought back some of the heft that had slowly seeped out of them before Pasi finally walked...it's like a blend of 'Elegy
& 'Tuonela' (without the saxophone)...

A blend of anything with Tuonela I'm prepared to assume sucks completely. Greed was the only not-annoyingasfuck track on that album. Might just be the vocals actually. God damn I hate that vocalist.
