New CD's that you have gotten recently

The first time I heard Divine Wings it blew my mind, I was 17 and just getting into metal. The Odyssey rocks, so i had to pick up that vinyl as well.

They are a great band indeed. Just not one I really listen to much these days or keep up with. I used to listen to their double live one all the time when that came out.

One band I've never been able to see live but want to. Not something I listen to a lot either, but I do like them. My faves definitely are the two you mentioned.

I heard V first, it was a blind buy. I was still relatively new to long albums, especially ones that demanded close listener attention, and listening to V just up to the halfway point felt like a marathon at the time. Making it all the way to the end felt like a minor personal victory.

I just acquired about a thousand LPs, some 45s and 78s, a couple hundred CDs, a lot of dust, two Supertramp reissues, and a Nickelcreek CD (I have wanted some of their stuff for years just never got around to it).
Oh and this stuff will not be listened in the estore. HAHA However there are a few updates over there now, and a lot more waiting in the wings to be listed.

I never could stand KEEL.

:OMG: but "you got it, the right to rock"

Admittedly in the 80s Keel was one of the bands I could not get into, strange since they aren't much different than everything else at the time. Guessing I just could not get into them all back then. Though I remember having 'Keel' on cassette. i bought the albums again in the early 1990s and well I still have them.
It was the same with Helix. In the 80s there was just so many bands and so little allowance and lunch money to buy albums and tapes, so some bands had to be sacrificed.

Not a bad haul for someone who said they couldn't go to the $8 Live Wire show since it was so close to MDF!!!!

That had more to do with being here for my mom than moolah jackass.

I am just giving you crap..........

Though wow.

Serious question.....
You basically bought over 30 non-rare CDs.....

Were the prices really good, or was it just a matter of buying as "part of the festival mood"????

I couldn't imagine picking up THAT many CDs in one shot.
