Not bringing merch to a gig is a sure-fire way to make no money as a middle-level band

I never understood how bands could NOT sell merch at shows.

I was shocked when Omen as a headlining band brought NO merch to Ragnarokkr. Sure, I know they don't play a lot so may not want to press TOO many shirts. I would think with as long as Kenny has been in the scene he knows enough people to do a cost effective short run.

I guess maybe some bands just don't want to deal with it.

Even Ashbury made 25 shirts for the fest.

Shok Paris didn't bring stuff. I asked Vic and he said he had old stuff lying around but wanted to wait for the new album to be out then make merch to all go together...I get it but sell off the old stuff. I would have bought an older Shok Paris shirt.

I don't get when bands don't want to make money at shows.
