New Enslaved Album

Name calling, now this thread is descending into pointless squabbling. Accept others opinions without calling people names on the internet and this Opeth forum would be much better, myself included, but I don't think I got personal with TR. This is all subjective musical opinion with premeditated replys, and the best this TR person can come up with is asshat? C'mon, man I heard that shit in grade school. And some think he's a good debater? When he's probably quoting others from a book. People like this pervade the internet, those who think they have to prove others wrong with their views. They don't care about what others may think about a certain subject. They just want to jam down their opinions as the absolute. You don't think Enslaved are pushing boundaries, fine I don't care. I grew up with Miles Davis playing constantly in my home when I was a kid, and have spoken to many jazz musicians and have done research extensively on Miles. And believe me this TR person does'nt know everything about Miles Davis, let alone jazz, or music in general. But, he sure "sounds and writes" like he does, for those who have been here awhile, remember NFU? I would absolutely love to meet this TR in person, and then maybe we could debate music, without the shield of the internet. O.K. junior.

NFU and TR are prolly the same person, they're both unwilling to listen to anyone and ignorant people who act as if they are Gods among us. NFU seemed intelligent but he contradicted nearly everything he ever said. he would praise a band for it's progression then say how they are a shit band in another thread. they both feel that they are superior to others when it came to musical knowledge but their comparisons and facts on music leave out any form of passion they felt towards music. so what if enslaved combines genres and influences, their albums make me feel unbelievably inspired. that's what music is all about, what you take from the experience of listening to a band.

end thread.

Ignore TR guys. He posts tons on the gmd forums and I don't actually think I've seen him say anything positive... anywhere. Anyway, from the sounds of it I need to look more into Enslaved. What I've heard so far sounded pretty good.

nfu and tr aren't the same person, i can tell you that right now. why would nfu bother coming back here under a different name when he hasn't posted in what, 2 years or something

i wasnt claiming they were the same, i was using what they both have in common to show how idiotic they are.

And, the dude had a serious hard on for Enslaved.

that was the problem with NFU, he would praise Enslaved saying that they are one of the most progressive bands, then in other posts he would shoot them down. i kid you not, i remember a couple of years ago reading one of his posts and saying to myself "i thought this guy loved enslaved?"

lol, fact is the victor of this debate is TR, despite a few ridiculous remarks on his part.
