New Feared single - Mastered by Ermin

hahaha only in an AE forum can one get a shit-load of comments about the guitar tone and mix and nothing about the MUSIC.

to me it sounds fucking badass! and no i don't care about some stupid frequency in the guitar tone.
finally a band who's songs are not a pointless rythmic pattern played on a palm muted 6th/7th string for a whole album!
horns up!

Thanks man, glad you dig my not-so rhythmic unintelligent metal...

The biggest issue is that we've been so spoiled with Ola's songwriting for years on here. It's kind of like oxygen; you take advantage of being able to breathe until someone dunks your head under water without your permission

Ola told me that the release has been quite successful so far, every bit of it which he deserves.

It's hard to find level headed musicians and humble talent these days. Ola has always performed on the social and musical dimensions of being a great artist.

Very few people have taken the time to provide this forum with full songs to mix, great gear comparisons, and conversations that don't sound like they're coming from Mr. Internet Tough Guy. Leading by example has always been the best way IMO.

Great job again mi amigo.

Wanted to mention something, real quick. I've been listening to the CD a fair bit, and it's still fresh on my mind.

I used VCC at 4x oversampling quite heavily on the stem master, and to be frank I absolutely love the effect it had on the transients and subduing the high-end. Combined with the GSSL, even though it's a very raw and aggressive sounding record, to me it still sounds like it could've potentially been stem mixed on a 4k. There's something about the effect that makes me want to listen to the album over and over (though I'm sure the music itself helps!!).

So, I guess this is an endorsement for VCC! Also a big one for Ola, because I love his music. Been moshing to 'The Bridge' for days now!
