mudvayne (by mudvayne, I'm refering to LD50, not that other shitty record) are pretty good, probably the only nu-metal band I enjoy listening to...

If by PT you mean Porcupine Tree no they did not break up. Their new album is scheduled for early 2005 on Lava. I'd love to see Opeth sign with Lava as they'd be a modern day Death Metal band signed to a major label.

The End is great but they don't have the budget or scope to handle Opeth and they'd be the first to admit it.

Opeth needs a label with major distribution and Roadrunner will give that to them.

Why is everyone afraid of Opeth succeeding?

I knew about Cradle, but Nightwish? Fuck.
I looked at the bio on RRR and I saw that their backdrop for the Century Child tour was auctioned off to a guy I knew from the departed Arch Enemy forum. Then again he was also the guy that got me into Nightwish... I guess he was a big fan.
