So if you follow Slate Digital on Facebook the other day they said something about a new plugin the other day. Apparently those at RSPE's Avid event at House of Blues on thursday were first to hear about it. But since then I've been unable to find any details online.

Has anyone heard any details? Rumours? Speculation even?

Haven't heard anything, but if they are continuing in the analog emulation direction, my guess would be some kind of channel strip. Which would be awesome!

Vintage Modern EQ collection, I hope.
BUT...
Imagine if the launch date were announced on december... About april 2013.
We could get the plugin just on agoust-september, since Slate loves to tease.
Dammit

I think a channel strip of the consoles in VCC sound be pretty awesome. No doubt Slate could put out something so good that it could cover 90% of my itb mixing duties.

Channel strip would be sweet

I'm going to shoot at a vintage room/reverb machine....thingy.

I would like this. Lexicon plugins and Briscati impulses cover a lot of stuff though

Hoping for the mastering EQ that's mentioned in the FG-X manual

Keen

There's also talk of a mastering compressor...

Real thing or Duende... not massively fussed if it was that

Dragon plugin

That would rule.

These suggestions are all pretty awesome. I've been looking for a cool mastering EQ for a while... was gonna go for the Softube Massive Passive but might hold out and see what happens with this Slate thing first.
