New Social Thread

I get it, trust me. But coming to the forum and talking about how you are going to commit sucide, even jokingly, is beyond lame. Besides, you are the one who ended it right? I would think you could hold it together a little better than that, sheesh.

Dude, throwing oneself into traffic isn't exactly a common method of suicide; I assumed people would get that I was poking fun at my own sadness.

I'm holding it together just fine, bud. I came here to let off some steam. There's nothing wrong with being hyperbolic about things when you've just broken things off with somebody you care about. I don't really see why you think you need to criticize me.

And by the way, it makes absolutely no difference whether I broke things off or she did. You don't even know why I broke things off with her. The fact is that I didn't want to; I felt like I had to do it. And, you know, I also give a shit about other people, so I'm distressed about how much I've hurt her because of this. You're in no position to judge the appropriateness of my feelings.

I am only curious as to what type of metal you listen to (IE: Why you are on a metal board?), as I have only seen you post in Social.

Kind of like a female version King Drunkard :p

Hey Richard are you going to do fantasy baseball?

Doubtful, I plan on taking a break from fantasy sports for a bit.

Yeah, well, maybe next time you shouldn't start off by saying, "This is no time for jokes." I guess I missed the memo about you not being super serial or something.

I'm holding it together just fine, bud.

I'm glad to hear that, seriously.

I apologize if I offended you. I wasn't criticizing you, just eSlapping some sense into you.

Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Children Of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Pig Destroyer, OTEP, Finntroll, Lacuna Coil, Coal Chamber, Cradle Of Filth, Moonspell, Celtic Frost, Arch Enemy.... and theres a lot more, but you get the idea.

I listen to a lot more genres than just metal though (I listen to a lot of Industrial &some rap depending on the artist, and even a little bit of country. Depending on my mood I don't mind classical either).

Being online is different than in person I think. In person I have a much more established personality, but online I'm kind of ordinary and very careless.

I think its because I rarely ever go on the computer.

It's just strange because it actually takes more effort to insert the word "like" into a sentence such as "I feel like totally tired right now" (I know you didn't say that, I'm just using an example). Most people are much more articulate online than in real life, because they have more time to consider their response. It's in actual speech that most people tend to plug their sentences with annoying filler such as "like" and "um."

Online I don't really think about it as much.
