NEW SOILWORK ALBUM

...

Does no one listen to The Chainheart Machine?

I do! As well as Steelbath Suicide. Both great albums.

Oh, and as far as the new album is concerned... I just received it yesterday. All I have to say is... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 :D

Edit: OMG... the chorus on "Epitome" is fucking amazing! Speed has definitely stepped up his vocal performance on this album fo sho!

To be honest I wish I could hear the amazingness and power of older songs such as Structure Divine, Neurotica Rampage, Steelbath Suicide and the three first songs off Chainheart Machine with such an amazing production as their latest CD.

 I think that could get boring tbh. If I want to hear the old soilwork, I will pop in one of those cd's. I like that they've progressed and changed over the years a bit. With peter producing I wouldn't be surprised though if it was one of his to-do items to go back and remix and remaster Steelbath and Chainheart.

^ I totally understand that point of view, just to be clear I didn't mean the same production though, but one that would do justice to these song's quality.

I'd die a happy man if he did that.

:| NO SHIT. Sounds bitchin'. <33333

I kind of miss that old wild screaming style though.

Still amazing, just like the original, just different.

Something about Speeds screaming changed on this album...not as "dirty" somehow, and also a bit higher, but it sounds as if it's close to his "border" in terms of highness...
slightly annoying after I while I must confess :|

Sometimes is hard to believe that exists a keyboardist in the band!lol The music is quite good but I miss that epic "Natural Born Chaos" keyboard arrangements.

Weirdly, after listening to Speed talking about the album, I really would have thought otherwise.

I thought this would be Natural Born Chaos part 2, whereas it's more like a mix of it and Stabbing the Drama. (Well to me it seems a bit like that.)
