Non-Brutal DM?

Got all 3 Anata albums. I've only heard 1 The Chasm album though, 'Conjuration...'. What I got round to listening to didn't really impress me which was a disappointment, seeing as I've heard nothing but great things about them. I suppose I should give them another try... :u-huh:

I'm presuming you're already familiar with At the Gates (particularly first half of 'With Fear I Kiss...') and Necrophobic (The Nocturnal Silence)?

I've got all bar 'Gardens of Grief'. I've heard Necrophobic's 'Bloodhymns' but the production was shite, so I never got into it. Never thought about checking out their older material though...

Try 'Deathcult For Eternity: The Triumph' from The Chasm.

Conjuration is good though, I'd suggest giving it another chance.
OK, I'll see if I can DL it tonight. I've never heard of God Macabre so I'll check them out too.

Might as well say it here... Anyone heard of Necronomicon? They're a fantastic Canadian DM band that are heavy on the Egyptian lyrics, but don't come off as a Nile clone, personally I prefer them to Nile. They've got 2 albums out "Pharoah of Gods" and a new one "The Sacred Medicines". I'd suggest people to visit their website and download the tracks on their multimedia page. great stuff

The Nocturnal Silence is excellent. I don't think any other Necrophobic is particularly good although I haven't heard it all. Never heard Necronomicon, I'll try them out. I don't like Nile though.
