Hey!!! I noticed today Alexi Laiho sings in NortheR. I know, I know, all of ya know that, but..... I never heard the band, so i downloaded "Released.mp3"... the singer is Laiho!!!!???? Its he, no? He sings in all songs? Please someone introduce the band for me!!! The story, etc. Thanks.

Aleksi ja Alexander did do the backing vox. (or shouts ) on Youth Gone Wild coversong , which is the B-side of released single.

The singer of the Norther isn't Alexi as you may thought already. Singers name is Petri 'Pete' Lindroos and he sounds quite much like Alexi. And like there is already mentioned that Alexi Laiho and Alexander Kuoppala made those backing shouts to that Skid Row cover song. But I think that those shouts are the only ones that they have made with Norther, but I'm not 100 % sure about that.

Just listening to the "Dreams of Endless War" -album...and no there is no Alexi Laiho singing these songs...there´s not even any kind of info that anyone from C.O.B. would´ve done any backing vocals or stuff like that...only thing where I can find mention of C.O.B. is in the part where the band(Norther) thanks C.O.B....

i just know, that in some songs of the "mirror of madness"-album alexi, alexander and jaska are doing some background vocals.

you can read in the booklet of the cd: "shout choir on tracks "everything is an end", "dead" and "mirror of madness" by allu, ale, jaska and kride."
