There's WAAAY too much bullshit. I can't help but feel if it were a 50 minute album with 10-12 songs (not interludes and parts with Rob wailing for 80 bars) with good production, this would be one of the better Priest albums.
If they actually play the whole thing live, you're gonna see more sleepy fans than at a Dream Theater concert. Still, I wouldn't mind hearing a few new songs live, mixed in with the classics.
Snooooooooze
@Wyvern: once more we agree, bro
Totally agree!
The same syndrome Maiden's been suffering since X Factor, now Priest got Maidenitis as well...

I suppose that means it bored you to death?
That's exactly what it means. I have been afraid of this. Damn!
I was afraid since they said they wanted symphonic parts in an album. Damn it!, it's Judas Priest not Dream Theater, I want kick ass metal.
we cannot trust anymore our old idols, now fallen ones (except Motorhead and Testament that keep kicking ass).
Indeed. The new Testament is, to my ears, the best album of the last two years. I'd lost track of them after Souls Of Black but this masterpiece completelly restored my interest in them! Album of the year, by far.
Actually it didn't stroke me that much but what I want to emphazise is that the band didn't sold out, didn't go mellow, didn't slow down or lost power. I guess it should be fair to recognize to bands that have their good chunk of time making music, when they keep on relentlessly making good albums. Bands such as Saxon, Motorhead, Testament are in that league. I really was expecting more from a band such as Judas Priest that already had its faux pas, it seems they didn't learn from the past and moreover they wanted to chew more than what they can swallow. Sad for me a fan of a lifetime
P.S. If you lost track after "Souls Of Black" I recommend you to check "Low" and "The Gathering", if you liked TFOD I'm sure those ones will appeal to you too.
