Why do people keep on refering to "Damnation" as an acoustic album? My opinion is it's a mellow album like Opeth said it was. Wouldn't an acoustic Opeth be closer to things like "Patterns In the Ivy II" and "Requim"?
because too many people incorrectly associate clean with acoustic....especially when contrasted with a "metal" band...
And perhaps the fact that all the songs are playable acoustically without taking away from the overall effect of the song. (Harvest can be played both electrically and acoustically, but Masters Apprentice cannot be played acoustically) That sort of thing..
