i have to say it is in my top 5...BUT i've only bought i think 7-8 albums that have come out this year, and quite a few old ones. but i still think its excellent and its starting to sound better each listen, which is nice...

Yes, and it happens to be my album of the year without question. I think the album is fantastic and do not understand what people are complaining about..Especially those who claim to love Opeth. It showcases every style they play wonderfully, and they haven't "sold out" (a term people just love to throw around, not necessarily even at Opeth either..) so what the fuck is the problem?

nope, the American version came out in September, i saw it on import in HMV a few days ago and bought it, now i find out its gonna contain a bonus disc on the European version, oh well, come to think of it, im not that bothered.
