The new Immortal is very cool IMO, liking this more than SOND already.

Other cool 2009 releases are the nü Blood Red Throne (why hello there), Despondency, Nile, Suffocation, Vomit The Soul and a shitload of other brutal death and punk albums that you fags won't like.

It's decent but you can skip halfway through any of the songs and be on the same track. They could've summed this up in one song.

Yeah. I actually really like Sons of Northern Darkness. It may be far from pure BM, but there are some fuckin great riffs on that disc.

I also really like it, but I don't consider it black metal but who cares. Very unique riffing too imo. Haven't heard the new one yet, but most Immortal stuff is fuckin excellent.
