^I can't get enough of it. That's an awesome post metal combo. Done it before, leaves you pretty dominated. How's this post rock combo...
Mono- You are there, then Explosions In The Sky- The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place.

It's great stuff, looking forward to spinning it again when I'm in the mood. Yeah it is, I've never put those two together before, definitely works well. And that's a great combo mate! Try sigur ros - () or takk afterwards if you're still in the mood for post-rock, those three in succession will own.

Listened to heaps of Sigur Ros the other day, so they will have to wait a bit for their next turn. Though I wouldn't mind "Von" at some point soon. Also fucking hell had I forgotten how brilliant Mono's You are There is. Far out, pure genius. Aside from Sigur Ros- Ágætis byrjun and the 3 GY!BE albums it basically eclipses almost everything else in post rock imo. np Comets on Fire- Blue Cathedral, then The Allman Brothers Band- s/t, my thread made me realize I hadn't pun The Allman Brothers in a while.

You are There is a fantastic album, no doubt. Though I think some of Sigur Ros, EITS, TWDY and maybe even The Evpatoria Report can match it.

NP - Deathspell Omega - Kenose, then Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye.

Cruel Harvest - Anointing Rite.

Trent, you'd absolutely love this track. It's amazing.
Hadn't heard of them, do they have an album, can't find much details. I gather it's a dark ambient band though. If you like it then I surely will.

All of those post rock acts are quite good, though I have only listened to The Evpatoria Report's "Golevka" once, it was good though.

Ane Brun - Changing Of The Seasons

Been binging on that album the last couple of days, haha.
Such a masterpiece, listened to it today as well for the 14th time. Genius woman.

Colour Haze- Temple, then Led Zeppelin- Houses of the Holy.

Negura Bunget - OM

Every time I listen to this album, I am more amazed by it. The first time I heard, I sort of scratched my head and couldn't figure out what the fuss was all about. I forced myself to listen to it once every few weeks to see if anything changed. I now understand.

Twilight - Beyond Light (Beautiful And Malignant)

A friend recommended this to me (Twilight). I haven't listened to the whole album but if it's all as good as this song... I'm impressed! Trippy, awesome, black metal goodness.
