I've been trying to get through the Camel discography lately, which I've learned can be quite a minefield due to their frequent attempts at becoming more 'mainstream' - *sigh*. Nothing compares to the first two albums - pure genius. They went straight to shit in the late '70s, though.

Current one I'm listening to is Harbour of Tears - pretty generic soft rock basically.

thats actually entirely incorrect. raindances, breathless AND nude are fantastic albums.

It's called drone music for a reason, and not many people are into it. I happen to enjoy it.

Yeah, i can understand why not many people are into it. It was like one riff sustained for about 10min with a G note on some stupid key FX which was also sustained. Note to self: never ever go near a drone band.

brings back memories, first song i ever heard of these guys, the 2nd piano solo in it does things to me
