Now Reading...

MC,

Rule of thumb for future reference. If your image requires the user to scroll the screen to see the full image, it needs to be smaller.

No harm, no foul.

G.

yeah,
sorry
that was pretty freaking huge
here's a much smaller version of the same pic

i just re-read
"a widow for one year" by John Irving

the book is way to freaking long (sheer number of pages) and also too much stuff going on

the principal protagonist is Ruth Cole, but Eddie O'Hare is mentioned, alot

when i got to the end, i thought the same thing i thought the previous time i read it

if you edit out all the scenes that don't have Eddie in them, you've got a pretty well-written (and still decent-sized) novel with Eddie being the principal character

It's under 600 pages, that's not a lot of pages.

Hey all. It's been a long time. How's it going?

Hopefully, I won't say anything that will get me banned.

I just finished reading "The Malazan Books of the Fallen" by Steven Erikson. Holy crap. If you say the word, "epic" in reference to any other work, I think it would be a disservice. This series was "epic" in any sense of the word. Best series I've ever read, though I have to say that I'm glad I'm done with it as it's pretty damn bleak.

I need something light, so I'm back to completing my Garrett, P.I. book series from Glenn Cook. I'm currently reading "Petty Pewter Gods." I won't post a picture of the cover though because I'm sure you can Google it if you care.
