Problem in America is no one cares, or no one knows any better. When politicians care more about profit than the quality of life for the citizens, the people need to rise up. I didn't hear the speech yet, but I can definitely say I'm already tired of people talking about what an "amazing experience" it was to listen to it, or that "things are changing for the better, I can feel it!" or "this is the most important day in the history of the United States" or anything like that.

Yeah, hey we got a new president. And he's black. Neat. Who cares? Why does it have to be such a big deal? Dude hasn't even done anything yet and people are already saying the world's magically a better place now.

For the record, I voted for him. I'd like to see some of this change he's talking about too, but I'm not going to just assume it's really going to happen until it actually does.
