Odin's Court: DVD Preorders Now!

Okay, so it's been awhile. Time for an update!

The audio is done. The mix was complete 3 weeks ago. The master was completed this past week by Doug of 9250AV (formerly Cyberella Studios).

The video editing is completed for the final show, as well as the 6 extras. The band sat down together this past weekend and watched the whole thing. We were all very excited with the result! There are some very minor tweaks to make, then it is off to duplication!

For those anxiously waiting the release, we will be doing preorders as soon as it is sent off for duplication. There will be some perks for the first 50 to preorder the DVD, as well as some package deals with other merchandise for saving money.

Also, if you were at the show, there are plenty of shots of those on the floor in front of the stage, so you may see yourself on there. And if you missed this one but have been a fan of the band and seen us any time in the past 5 years, you may have made the extras in a slideshow.

Odin's Court is proud to announce our first DVD will be released 12 September 2006! This DVD was filmed at the infamous Jaxx Nightclub on 24 March, 2006. Although this DVD was completely self-financed, don't let that fool you - the quality is outstanding (both audio and video).

For free video and audio samples, as well as still photography from the event, hop on over to our website. These are samples, and the actual DVD will be much higher in quality: www.OdinsCourtBand.Com/CourtIsNowInSession.html.

¡The first 50 people to preorder the DVD will receive a free audio CD of the concert! This CD will include our cover of Iron Maiden's "The Trooper", as well as the rest of the songs performed on the DVD. This CD will also be signed by the entire band! Another perk of being one of the first 50 to preorder the DVD - we will mail it out to you as soon as they get back from duplication, even before the official release date!

The DVD includes all the originals played during our concert (14 in all) and 6 bonus features: an interview with the band, after show clips, Savino's solo spot, and 3 still photography slideshows (band, fans, and "bloopers").

I can certainly attest to that! I am looking forward to seeing this how it looks and sounds on my high-end home theater setup.

Sucks that your show for tonight (8/11) was cancelled, as I had every intention of actually going to that one. The other shows that I've seen scheduled are just to friggan far away (a good 2 hours or more for me to get to). At least Neptunes is very doable for me. Would be nice if you guys could ever play in Fredericksburg, Virginia, but I guess I'll just keep wishing.

Well, when this DVD comes in, at least I can relive that one awesome show that I had the pleasure (and honor) of getting to attend.

And looking forward to getting to see you at ProgPower! Will also have to look up Mike from Division as well.
