Hmmm..... I never cared for alternative, but your Pearl Jam pick made me think of "Ten." That's a tough CD to beat as far as cover to cover quality. Those were some great songs on there.

That's the only PJ album I like, very solid album in my opinion. They went down hill after that.... plus they took on an "arty" image after that. IMO.

YOU'RE THE FUCKING MAN GODDAMN IT. Yes, I love Black Label Society's "Sonic Brew". Good old bluesy, southern metal . I love the ballads in there like "Peddlers of Death" and "Spoke In The Wheel". A lot of metal ballads come off cheesy to me but Black Label Society ones are truely moving. In fact, I have "Stronger Than Death" too and I love it. It's more straightforward heavy metal with out the blues as in "Sonic Brew".
