No shit ! And I thought I was all alone in this forum  So,where exactly do you live ? I am 200 km outside Athens at the moment coz this is where my university is but come to Athens almost every weekend since this is where I originate from.I hear that in many universities all across Greece have the same problem. It sucks.

Nice man, I'm from Athens as well. I live in Halandri.
Regarding the unis, you know how stuff works here in Greece, It's pretty awful to witness. Allow me to say: "Γάμα τα..."

I live in Peristeri but now study in Lamia.
I used to think that things in Athens were "Γάμα τα..." but now that I have seen what is going on outside Athens "Γάμα τα..." is the least one can say about the shit happening here.I am starting to wonder if there is something in the cowntry that actually works right !

Hey Nemesis, was it hard for you to learn a different alphabet than yours ? I am asking this cause sometimes i dream of learning Russian, or Japanese. Weird but i like to understand how foreign people talk and react each other. I tried to learn German, but i didn't like it :) It is hard as hell, it has too many rules. You gotta memorise all the "artikels" before each noun. And they are irregular. English is simple on the other hand. Of course simple when you don't get into special areas like literature or business stuff. I think i can say that i can speak at least better than Tarzan :)

why do you ask me ? Apart from Greek I only speak English and so do you.Did you had a hard time learning the English Alphabet ?
I knew how to speak English before I ever step foot in that English class.I was into English movies and songs all along and the last 3 years or so I also read English literature..
I tried to do German too but failed since its too hard.

yeah, German is really hard, but definitely a cool language!

Actually i asked you because english alphabet and turkish alphabet is mostly the same :) We both use the latin alphabet.
I had no idea about that.
Well, memorizing an alphabet is not that hard.Youjust have to remember how each letter is called and how you can pronounce it.
You have a particular alphabet in mind ?

You know the germen grammar is not that different than the Greek.

I'm learning Japanese, and it's a bit hard but lot's of fun! Oh yeah and i know the Greek letters as well, since i had Greek history in school...

Γάμα τα... is pronounced as rama ta... i guess, but i'm not sure. One thing's for sure, Greek history is very interesting!

Remembered that Greek and Turkish share some words like 'yavru', 'baklava' (YUMMIE :D)

I had to learn some Korean words for my Taek Won Do class. It was fun but hard.

Γάμα τα... is actually pronounced Gama ta and its Greek for fuck it !

I don’t know “Yavru” but I do like “baklava” (YUMM too !)
By the way I have a friend who made a personal study about baklava and he actually suggests that the original recipe is from ancient Greece.
Personally I don’t really care as long I can taste it.

^ haha thats not necessarily true! I love checking out porn stores just for fun! Actually they usually have pretty hot outfits and for a damn good price!

I think it would be really fun to work in one, they're not really the dodgy dirty little places they get made out to be.

WE have some good porn shops here in Canberra :) that sell everything from clothes, fireworks, jewelry, bongs....oh yeah...porn too.

BTW, As i know (actually i am sure :D ), there are words in English such as: bashibazouk, odalisque. They are derived from Turkish ("Odalık and başıbozuk"). But as i know (this time i am not sure :p), they only exist in historical language. And i don't know if they are more or less mentioned in common language.

About the Baklava thing, i really dont care what country it's originated from (it could be Japan ). Dutch is somewhat hard for other people to speak since we have a 'g' which is not pronounced as in 'geez' but with a lot of scraping in your mouth. Nonetheless it pretty cool. I wonder if i communicate in Dutch if i ever go to canada...hmm.

Actually i misinterpreted it too. like "full of baby bones" :S I was shocked for 2 seconds or so. :D ( i think my mind combined "holes" and "bunnies" at the first look. :)
