weird...I figured you guys would have more mainstream access to their stuff in Europe. I've never had problems finding at least some SX cd's in some of the bigger chains here.

In smaller CD stores you find music like Symphony X easily but this store is part of one of the biggest market chains in Finland. The usual metal CDs I've encountered there are of Finnish origin or Metallica/Iron Maiden -category with some random exceptions.

edit: and yeah, while the chain being big, the store itself is rather small compared to the ones in other towns so I guess it also contributes to the variety of CDs sold there.

McCain's VP choice Sarah Palin...doesn't she remind you of a typical hot teacher in disguise, the one that has to put her hair up and wear glasses in order to hide her hotness? :D

I think people are actually still recovering from the Democratic Convention in Colorado! If it makes you feel any better, I'm not even sure the Republicans can top them is sheer idiocy this year!

It's not the party or the conventions themselves so much as the "pro-this" and "anti-this" groups that will be running around the streets making everyone's life a living hell for the next week and the fact that we're going to have between 40 and 50 thousand people running around downtown St. Paul where I live. My old apartment was literally a block and a half from the Xcel center, so luckily I'm in my new place that's a bit further....but it's still only about 4-5 blocks away. I think I'll go stock up on food tonight and binge on video games and guitar while not leaving my apartment until next Sunday.

Yes, they are actual clips. I still can't stand the tones on some of these, but the clips themselves sound pretty good IMO. I wont be as hesitent to buy this as I thought I would.

He fucked her and is toting her as VP to cover it up. McCain pays off all the 30 somethings.

This choice is epic win.... for Obama. McCain kept saying "My opponent has no experience..." so he chooses for his VP, someone with no experience. GG McCain

Great....looks like the police are using the parking lot behind my place is being used as a staging area by the police. So much for the protestors having no reason to come 'round here.:erk:

Did you hear that people planning to protest the convention are being arrested and charged with things like 'disorderly conduct'? So, how long until it is completely illegal to protest?

Hurricane Gustav Threatens Convention

The hasty reordering of an event months in the making underscored not only the risk posed by Gustav, but also an intense desire by McCain and Republicans to avoid the political damage President Bush suffered from his widely criticized response to Hurricane Katrina three years ago.
Haha, talk about bad timing for the Republicans...maybe it's a sign to the country to not elect these a-holes :D On the other hand, Bush & Cheney cancelled their plans to speak at the convention, so that's actually a plus for the GOP ;)

Some of them are also people who's staging centers were found packed with buckets of urine, homemade tire-spikes, bricks, wrist rockets, knives, axes, helmets, sledge hammers, make-shift shields, molotov-cocktail assemblies, etc. Some of these groups are planning/threatening to disable buses carrying people to the convention, blockade bridges using the sleep dragon (yes....sleeping dragon:lol:), and basically make everyone's life a living hell for the next week. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with people protesting in a civil, peaceful manner. It's the fucktards that have to ruin it for everyone. People have (as the should) a right to assembly and a right to protest, but there are too many of them that have no intention but to be destructive. It comes back to the whole notion that you have all the right in the world to swing your fist until you start swinging it at my face. I can't wait to see the police come down on some of these pieces of societal trash when their cute little marches start hindering access to the hospital down here, or when they try to blockade the bridges coming into St. Paul. These people are creating an unsafe environment for the thousands who live and work in downtown St. Paul and their tactics limit their appeal to the select few fucktards already onboard. One of the real downfalls of the whole thing is that they detract so heavily from the groups and indivuals who do have a valid message and who do protest in a peaceful civil manner. It's because of them that all the protestors get lumped into the same category of being destructive, juvenile pieces of shit.
