That would actually be pretty badass imo. I'm not a huge fan of Amaranthe, but I like their vocalists. Under Arjen's power that could really be something awesome.

New Aryeon? OH hell yeah! I have been stoked about this since I first saw this thread back in October!! I am definitely getting this one. Aryeon is pretty much an automatic blind (or should I say, "deaf"?) buy for me!

Well, if you do, I would highly recommend checking out Into the Electric Castle for starters. I would even recommend picking up the "original" Aryeon album (The Final Experiment) as well for starters. If you really like what you are hearing, than definitely pick up all the rest of the Aryeon albums, as I think they all are really good. However, the album Actual Fantasy is kinda the odd one out, though. If you do get that, make sure to get the "Revisted" special edition, which can still be found.
As an aside, Arjen originally intended the album to be called "Ayreon : The Final Experiment" as the actual title, but only his name as the artist. But everybody starting thinking 'Aryeon' was the artist/band, so Arjen pretty much stuck with it and released all those subsequent albums under the 'Aryeon' name.

Actual Fantasy is the only one I don't own. Are you saying it's just different, but still good, or is it kind of iffy? I love the rest.
It is all good, IMO, but "The Final Experiment" and "Into The Electric Castle" are essential.
If you want Actual Fantasy on the cheap, I have an extra copy sitting around somewhere. Contact me if you want it.

It is definitely good, especially the "Revisted" re-mastering. I say it is an odd-one-out in that it does not 'fit' in with the rest of the theme/universe/story that Arjen seemed to have weaved in through all the other albums (at least up to this current one he is working on, as he did indicate that he is created a whole new universe from scratch).
It is more of just a collection of 'Aryeon-sounding' (for lack of better term) songs. Still excellent and recommend at least checking out, especially for the hardcore fans of Aryeon. However, for somebody that is just getting into Aryeon for the first time, I would recommend starting out with The Final Experiment (the "original" Aryeon album) and Into the Electric Castle.
