Old Season sound a little bit like Iron Maiden, but they definitely aren't a clone. They sound something like a mix between Iron Maiden and Candlemass.

Sometimes Frank's style of vocalization as well as the riffs sound Maiden influenced. But yeah, they are more of a traditional doom band than anything else.

The seven witches material with James Rivera on vocals is great, without him the band is worthless. 'Year of The Witch' was a good tribute to the oldschool bands. James Rivera is brilliant. I usually do not like power metallish vocals either. He's just as good as halford or anyone.
