so honestly in some respects i have started feeling old, mostly about tech shit

because while i'm old and bitter myself now i still have friends that have friends that are 16-18 or so, so some kids i talk to have !!! never used cassette tape !!! or !!! never owned a camera for 35mm film !!! and some of them maybe !!! never owned a computer without internet access !!! and to them it's sort of !!! IRONIC and RETRO COOL !!! when they play things like super mario world or sonic 2 because they !!! grew up with 3D 32-bit video games !!!

i know i'm totally going to become extremely grumpy when i grow older and talk a lot about how it was better when we had 8 mb of RAM and yes we did still get shit done thankyouverymuch and fuck off.

so like since most of you bald new jersey folks are pushing 50 at this point i imagine young folks like me must be really annoying with our ignorance of 8-track tapes and wax cylinders and such, no?

i still use my WALKMAN sometimes and no! walkman is not a series of stupid cell phones by sony ericsson! cell phones are for CALLING PEOPLE.

I started to feel the same way about new technology, and I am going to try hard to stay up with it or at least not be bitter.

i UNDERSTAND all new technology, i just think it's all unnecessary and pointless

When my mp3 player dies, I thnik I'll stick to my discman for a while... even though I download a lot and don't buy that much anymore.

I feel old too, especially when I teach kids every now and then. Bunch of spoiled arrogant fucktards for the most part, the other part not so much..quite disadvantaged people. Whatever.

I've stopped counting at 20 but 24 is old in a way. But I know there's a lot to come, it's not like I'm mature and stuff, and that feels good to know.

Now I only use it at the gymnasium or when I'm taking a work break nap. By contrast you'll be lucky to get a solid year of use out of an IPUD.

I doubt that the vast majority of tweeters, twatters, tweakers, whatever the fuck they're called, sign up to get updates from Popular Mechanics and National Geographic. More like another avenue to announce that they're at the mall or drinking a bottle of bourbon while watching the UFC fight. Fuck that mess.
