First off, let me tell you that I'm not solely a melodeath metalhead. I enjoy thrash, black, grind, death, speed etc. just as much. Anyway, I was thinking of something. You know all these new releases by In Flames (Whoralce and up), Gardenian, Arch Enemy etc.? That just gets boring after a while, man. I mean, it's limited how kickass these bands can get when they're so melo and don't sing as raw. But recently, I have discovered something. Old At The Gates, old In Flames and old Arch Enemy are real good, it's got the whole death metal thing with raw vocals etc. while still having a melodic touch. They should've stayed that way, don't you think?
