price actually seems good to me, thats like £100 per plugin (when the exchange rate is good)

Well it's a gimmick. They modeled HIS particular units. Plus you get his starting point presets, which have actually worked well as starting points for me recently on the E-channel. I would've been interested in these regardless of CLA's input. We really needed some 1176 and LA emulations in the native realm.

anyone else demo'ed them yet?

i have just had a quick play around - digging the 1176 on snare and bass, la2a on drums (just light comp) and clean guitars, la3a was quite cool on rhythm guitars on really light settings.

the 1176 is a very 'that sound' kind of comp, very recognisable as the attack is so quick

CLA plugs mix

this mix has 1176 on bass and snare, la2a on drum bus and cleans in the bridge, and la3a on rhythm guitars.

only a quick play around mind, im sure i can do better with learning them more. going to try on some other mixes with vocals to see how they fare there.
