only 3 shows

Opeth - The Moor, The Funeral Portrait, Demon Of The Fall, The Leper Affinity, Forest Of October, When, The Drapery Falls, Black Rose Immortal, and any others.
Tool - Sober, all of Lateralus, Disgustipated (if that's possible.. without them smashing more pianos on stage), Stinkfist, Thirdeye, Eulogy
Rage Against The Machine - Any.

i'd say pink floyd in 1977, playing echoes, some dark side stuff (us and them, brain damage, shine on you crazy diamond (both parts), and as much of animals as possible)

sanctuary, right after the release of into the mirror black, playing the whole album

atheist - elements era ...

Rage is a good one; I'd definitely pay to see them.

I can't really think of too many others.. but I guess I could stand to see Arsis again. I heard they're converting to a studio only band though so I'm glad I got to see them while I had the chance. It'd be nice if they played the whole cd but if nothing else - Looking to Nothing.

And just for kicks - hell, we'll see Opeth. Advent, Nectar, Moonlapse, SPD, and I'd like to hear Amen Corner. That's such an underrated song. Maybe Dirge too.

wow, a lot of people have opeth on their list haha, i've seen em 3 times..they're not impossible to see really. the beatles are :(

Not impossible but hard for some people who live in a country such as Argentina.

Yea, you're right. That is a waste of a pick. Definitely gotta go with the defunct classic bands like Floyd, Beatles, Zep, etc. I would have loved to see Tull in their prime too. Back in '71 or so.

true but you specifically said after those 3 you wouldn't be able to see another concert, ever. So of course I'd want to see them one last time with a killer set...
Btw I hear the Beatles weren't that great live. They supposedly barely played the songs, but the fans cheered them on anyways just because they were there on stage. Plus I think they stopped touring alltogether by the time their more interesting works came out (Sgt Peppers and onward).

Pink Floyd
Sonata Arctica
Creedence Clearwater Revival in the 60's

Pink Floyd would be a spectacular show hands down
Sonata Arctica i dont think ill ever see em in this lifetime
CCR - ive seen video of them playing live, so full of energy so many great songs, it would be so country and hick-like and just go for it ahha

Opeth - i will seem em in this lifetime :D

if you were granted the wish to see 3 more bands/artists, and then not be able to attend any more shows

Doesn't this mean that you see these three to the exclusion of seeing any others?

Screw you! I want Opeth! Besides, here in Chch NZ I think about our top concert this year is The Moody Blues...

Oh, and Ayreon (playing a mixture of Human Equation and Into The Electric Castle)

and....either Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree or Mastodon....man, theres PLENTY id love to see

ah i read the prompt to mean you could see 3 bands and never see those specific bands again, you could still see others...meh, doesn't change my picks though

this is true. john was even quoted as saying, after they made their first 5 or so albums, the beatles should have quit (though he might have been high when he said it, who knows haha). i would have liked to see them right before they broke, because i'd want to hear a good amount from Abbey Road.
