Wankers. Heh. No seriously, does anyone know of some good techno to download illegally?
I am in the mood for some technitization!

FSOL...

FSOL sir.. very experimental.. and very interesting..

get the ISDN album. My favorite "stop flahing those fucking lights"

Good songs off that include... hmm.. all of it.. Genius.

of course, there is Ulver.

More:

Fluke, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Orbital, Autechre, Blip, Praga Khan, Underworld.

Yeah, FSOL are good :o)

I'd also recommend Celtic Cross. I've only
heard their Hicksville album, but it's good!
I'd say techno with folk elements.
I need folk >:o)

Some other techno with folk, get this track -->
mari boine - gula gula (chilluminati mix)
(I found it on audiogalaxy).

Mari Boine usually sings pure folk stuff, but
I think it was cafe del mar who did a remix
of this song and it's great! :o)

Incidentally, techno folk sounds bloody interesting. I have plenty (too much?) folk-influenced metal of various flavours, but nothing folky that comes anywhere near to a techno-sound. Any other recommendations?

Yeah, I want to know too....
Since I love folk influences!
Can't get enough of it... :o)

Well... not techno specifically, but i can reccomned some good Drum n Bass stuff if ya like...

hehe...i thought i was the only one. i really like drum n' bass, and jungle, but i can't get into any other kind of electronic techno deal, except maybe some ambient electronic, like Boards of Canada.

anyway, i'd reccomend checking out Optical, Ed Rush, Squarepusher, Photek, Dillinja, Dom and Roland, J Magik, Panacea, Technical Itch, Dieselboy, Cujo. . . i like stuff with prog and jazzy elements, and that's what good drum n' bass has to offer.

does anybody know of any aggressive jungle artists? i'm having trouble tracking down some really good ones.
