you can find many similar sounding riffs on the cd "altars of madness." give it a listen. I think you will recognize the riff about 10 seconds in on track 1 (immortal rites).

I always found the Nectar opening riff and the part at 2:05 in Advent pretty similar too. A good bit of the notes are exactly the same.
