rock might just die

it's "Punk's not dead", which I believe refers to the old and harsher punk-rock of the late 70s and 80s, as opposed to modern crap like Green Day. meh, I don't know, don't like the genre genre imo.

lol @ thinking rock is dead

two weeks ago tool and pj came out with new records... both amazing and have blown me away... so there.

I sincerely hope you are joking

No way dude. Listen to their new album. HH is a great band. The songwriting is really emotional and even makes me cry sometimes. Don't judge. Opeth have never made me cry so HH are a more emotional band. Listen to a full album then you'll understand.

Rock is dead
Punk is dead and so is all kind of psychedelic shit. Good.
The real heavy metal died once in the eighties. Manowar are a bunch of sad old faggots dancing at the ashes of a once great monument.
Thrash metal died when a higher life form called death metal ousted it
Death metal died by a brain cancer
Gothenburg was death metal's bastard and it started going horribly wrong from the intro to the first song in Colony
Black metal lived and flourished for about two years. The genre died when they ran out of churches in Norway
Prog metallers were nothing but recyclers of old ideas. Good that they're dead now.
Folk metal should have never been.
Viking metal - Quothron RIP

So hear me people, the moral of this story is that when we begin to sit down at the end of the day and start thinking about the journey we made at the garden called life we must conclude that the truth - and nothing but the truth - lies within ourselves, our hearts and minds and souls.
Take care.

Damn, i was so just about to judge you until i noticed i wasn't allowed. Crying is so not cool. Bottling up emotions is what makes you a MAN.

ps. OpethNZ, its best not to think about it. Just pretend like all these threads are incredibly sarcastic, laugh, and move on with your life.
