j/k, but it's my least favourite of the three.


Y'know, The Drapery Falls MIGHT have a simplistic opening and closing riff, it MIGHT be liked by lots of new Opeth fans, but hey, it rules because it's an amazing song. It's got the most natural flow of all Opeth songs imo, and it's just beautiful. There's nothing stilted in it's progression; you can barely notice abrupt riff changes like in so many other Opeth songs...it's just an epic, flowing, Opethian masterpiece.

And Dirge is fucking amazing.

And Leper is the best on the album.

I fail to see why so many people dislike Dirge. Sure, it's quite slow-paced and linear, but this is purposeful. It's a very atmospheric, beautiful song.

Whoever voted The Funeral Portrait off should be beaten with a golf club. That's the best Opeth song ever, in my opinion.

SAeriously whats the matter with all of you? I mean compare DF to LA. LA is exciting from start to finish while DF has that repetitive intro outro, pluse the death vox parts are not that great. I dont understand you people. Lets just hope Blaek wins the next round.
