Regardless, that sort of attitude doesnt help anyone, I understand if you've lost important people in your life but somewhere in the middle east there is a man giving lip service to the contrary idea of America being eradicated off the face of the earth because an American jet bombed and blew up half his family at a wedding party.

Anyway back to point, this is absolutely horrific and abhorrent, don't particularly agree with the death penalty but in cases like this I think the guy should be put permanently to sleep.

Yes I've seen this on the news as well. And I see a lot having jumped to conclusions about it being the deed of muslims-arabs-refugees etc

The man responsible for this is confirmed to be a 32 year old white (ethnic norwegian) nationalistic male. Motives are still unknown. I think they are still interrogating him, either that or he is in custody.

10 people confirmed dead at Utøya, but they know the number will rise alot (was a real bloodbath). Really horrible, the guy was shooting at people trying to swim to shore/land by the side.

7 people confirmed dead at the bombing in Oslo while 48 is sent to the hospital, and 2 people are severly injured.

The media also felt the need to inform them that the killer played MW2 and WoW.

This is fucking horrible, my condolences go out to anyone who has been affected by this. No sane person can understand the motives behind such a thing, and the people doing stuff like this are the worst kind of scum that exist. I used to live two hours from Oslo and have friends from there, but as far as I know all of them are safe. I hope that all the injured people will recover and that this doesn't affect the sense of freedom in Norway.

That being said, a lot of you guys are fucking asshats to be blaming muslim immigrants before anybody knew anything about it. The shooter was a right wing norwegian extremist. All extremists are bad, and only a very small part of terrorism in Europe and The United States is done by muslim extremists... I understand that people are wound up by the event, I am too. But people are so fast to jump to the trigger and blame other social groups than themselves with absolutely nothing to base it on. It's prejudice like that which causes extremists to do stuff like this, and mindless hate and prejudice just adds fuel to the fire.

The killer was very right-wing yes, and the kids were quite the opposite. But the motive is still uncertain (unpublished?).

Although i'll take everything I hear with a grain of salt, the media isn't exactly known for being 100% honest.

was on the island, but she didn't get hurt, but I can't imagine how you feel if you actually experienced this.
