Talk about some bad timing...I'm scrounging around right now, until payday, and now the radiator in my car has a leak. Todays the 31st, tomorrow's April 1st and I have 2 races this month, albeit later in the month, but still. Is this bad timing or what?? My car has been running the best since I've had it and now look what happens.

I don't drive some suped up v8 muscle car. I'm out trying to be original in the area and I'm sporting a Saturn SC. Surprising the hell out of Honda guys and I was really looking foward to getting a full season of racing in this year. Last year I only raced 3 times and I was 10-15 points off the leaders pace. This is going to be a fun year and it's already started out bad.

Turning out better. Well, somewhat. Need the new radiator, but the guy will have it fixed tomorrow. He'll get the part and have it in by tomorrow mid day. Going to cost less than I thought. This just means that I'll be in good shape by races. He's the radiator specialist in the area. I talked to a guy who does a lot of racing, and he really recommended the guy and it'll work out in the end hopefully.

My stereo's sounding great, car's running great the past couple weeks, and after this setback, should be running great again just in time.
I'll have my 2 loves in great shape. Loud music, preferrably Anthrax, and racing my car.

...that's what happens when you own an American made automobile.
I am sorry to hear about your bad news, but the Japanese are the one's who make reliable cars. American cars used to be reliable. Up until the 60's.
I had 2 Ford P.O.S.'s. They both had overheating/radiator problems. Then I bought a CRX. Never had one problem with it.

I prefer my Saturn. It's a 92 and finally had a radiator problem. Can't complain about that I guess. I've been lucky with it. I need to buy a truck though so I can then not worry about keeping the Saturn as the everyday car.

RIGHT ON! I have a truck and a car.
The truck's a Nissan with 143,000 miles on it. It had a minor rear-differential problem that was probably my fault. But besides that, no problems!
I bought a Civic brand new 2 years ago. It only has 9,800 miles on it!
But look at this horrible thing that happened to my Civic:

Good luck with your automobiles. Once you get a truck, you'll never know how you survived without it!

That's shitty w/ what happened to your car.
I had a truck for awhile, it was a piece of shit, but I liked it alot. You can do a lot w/ a truck.
I got my car back, it's running great. I guess cause instead of running the power wire for the fan off the sensor, and off a switch, it voids the warranty of my radiator. Oh well though. That switch is what helps me on race day keeping my car cool.

Good luck with your car!

Trucks are very handy indeed. Especially when you've moved as much as I have.

I once saw a bumper sticker that said "Yes this is my truck, no I won't help you move."

Shit, if you have a truck, everyone always trys to get you to help them move. It's very annoying. I need to get one of those bumper stickers.
