So my son busted up his face in gym class yesterday, and today is school picture day. I'm so thrilled.

Yeah, a nice big, fat, cut up bottom lip. He looks like someone punched him in the mouth, but he says he did it on a blue bench. He got to go to the nurse's office by himself and get an ice pack. After I put $36 in his picture envelope. That kid's got timing.

I highly doubt it. My mom suggested that, trying to make me feel better. But it's much more likely that we'll always be able to remember the blue bench.

My parents would get frustrated because I'd "forget" to tell them when school picture day was, and end up getting a class picture done with my Iron Maiden or Twisted Sister shirt on. They'd be so proud.
