One time I was on the phone at work I was talking on the phone and my friend just makes me laugh so hard I started coughing and let one go. Embarrassed by I laughed with a co-worker. Thankfully it didn't smell. But man the I can let the mustard gas fly sometimes.

Anyone ever do blue flamers.?

no, have not done that.

I used to also use that hot sauce for lunch before driving to tacoma area for the week from portland. i'd ride up the whole way letting 'em fly. wouldn't be that bad then. i'd go inside the terminal, or come back to get my stuff, soon as i opened the door i would regret it.

I hate that. One time I was picking up my niece and she had the pleasure of getting in my truck after some good gassing.

Dag nabbit, I just lost an auction on ebay for 6 Zeppelin LPs (1-3, Houses of the Holy, Presence, and Coda). Oh well, I still have the high bid for a Physical Graffiti LP. My husband decided that he wants to get all of them on vinyl recently.

I almost bought a mac mini on ebay yesterday. I've been scouting out personal computers so I can burn dvds and all that fun stuff and eventually get the internet. Then after my computer geek friend gave me the "thumbs up" and said it was a good computer and worth the price...they cancelled their auction:cry:

Speaking of which, what kind of computers do you guys have at home? And if you could possibly tell me how much you paid for them? Basically, I am just looking for a computer to burn dvds and download concert bootlegs off of. My buddy is a huge believer in macs and swears that is the only computer I should buy. What are your thoughts everyone? He says macs don't get viruses as easy and would be the best bet because I just want to download concert boots and sometimes those things are loaded with viruses, but he says the macs don't recognize the viruses and it won't affect the performance. I find that kinda hard to believe. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Well, at home, we have a Tom Original aka my husband built it. It's got an AMD processor and Maxtor hard drives.

At work, I use a brand spankin' new iMac with the Intel processor. I don't see much of an advantage with a Mac. It freezes up the same amount of times as my PC and doesn't recognize the Sony Handicam we use to tape mouse behavior.

So, basically, I'm no help.

I mainly use an HP laptop running Windows XP Media Centre edition. It's a couple years old, but works decent. Doesn't freeze up nearly as often as my desktops that run ME & 2000.

We've been looking at getting a new desktop and having a Mac vs. PC debate. I do hate Microsoft in general, but don't want to have to give up all the applications that I'd have to replace if I switched.

Some virus' are windows specific. But there are also ones that are mac or linux specific. Go with what you are comfortable with. If you're familiar with Windows, stick to it. I overpaid for my laptop, it was one of those pay so much per week kind of thing since I do have bad credit. But my laptop works for me just fine. Another thing on the virus', if you have a good anti-virus, you're fairly safe. I use Kaspersky Internet Security myself. I was pretty sure I had a virus, McAfee wasn't finding it, Kaspersky did right away.
