OT: Who gets the last word?

It was sent to me in an unsigned letter, so I'm not even sure who made the threat, so it's hard to say how serious it is. We're drawing up a list of likely patients and comparing handwriting samples if we have them from those "candidates".

I'm not really worried at this point, most of the patients I see are too disorganized to figure out how to pay their own rent or shower regularly, never mind plot to kill me, especially since the building I work in is pretty secure, and my name is unlisted so they'd have a near impossible time finding out where I live.

So I went to a three hour PTO Board meeting tonight. I used to think the general meetings were long because they go to just over an hour and a half. It was my first board meeting and I thought since there were only 7 of us and none of us were bitchy whiney parents, we'd breeze through it. Shyeah. Right.

And then, I get to make about a thousand copies tomorrow morning. And THEN, I get to make like three thousand MORE on Monday. And I'm not exaggerating those numbers, either. With about 900 kids enrolled, and the amount of flyers they want going out, it really is that much. I have a box of PTO paper sitting in my trunk right now. They use yellow so the school can't bitch about the PTO using up all their paper. Even though everything the PTO does is FOR the school.

What a crappy day. It's currently 52 degrees, raining, and the temp is only going to fall during the day. We may get some flurries tomorrow night! WTF? It's only October! It just goes to show that Chicago has only 2 seasons: Winter and Summer. There's no happy medium.

Yeah, there was frost on the ground this morning in Edmonton, with calls for snow today. In Edmonton, our two seasons are winter and construction.

Yep, it's supposed to snow here also. It was nice this morning but I heard on the radio that is was supposed to drop down to around 35*to 40* by the time I get out of work today.. Time to keep the furnace on and wait for my outrageous gas bills :Smug: . Oh well, Michigan weather has always pissed me off, so why should this year be any different?

We figured out who made the death threats. Now I just have to see her so I can certify her and send her to the hospital.

Ehhh that's creepy stuff. I had a crackhead threaten me before. Some random person just came up to me and said there was a guy following her that wanted to kill me. It actually worked and freaked me out and I changed my walk to work for awhile Then i chalked it up as some crack head that probably was delusional from smoking a bit too much rock and wanted to fuck with a persons head or was just fucked up themselves. The randomness of it is what messed me up. If given the chance now, I would have called the cops right then and there. It completely took me off guard and I was like "What? Who wants to kill me? Why? What the fuck did I do? Who the fuck are you?" I like people less and less everyday:Smug: .
