Happy freakin' Monday. It's going to be 78 degrees today and I'm stuck inside all say. My husband, however, has the week off. Boo!
Went to the G3 show Saturday. It's was a good time. We missed the first 20 minutes of Paul Gilbert's set because the stupid el train we were on was delayed due to track maintenance. Petrucci was excellent, as I expected. And, for a bonus treat, Mike Portnoy played drums during his set. He's my husband's all time favorite drummer, so that made him happy. Satch was Satch, aka freakin' good. At the end, they jammed on some Hendrix and Stones. Verrry Nice.
